 Christmas Movies

We always watch the movie Miracle on 34th Street and no matter how many times we watch this movie, we still love watching it year after year. 

Sometimes we watch it more than once during the Christmas season.  Santa is real - In God We Trust!

Teddy Bears

A teddy bear was always under the Christmas tree for my daughter from Santa.  This happened accidentally - just one year we realized that every year Santa left her a teddy bear.  True!  She didn't ask for a Teddy Bear, but there was always one under the tree on Christmas morning.  Personally, I THINK he must have just added it to her sack of toys as a last minute thing!  I'd bet on it!

The Christmas Tree
Hot Chocolate & Cookies &
Christmas Music

Sitting in front of the Christmas tree with the thousands of tiny lights shining brightly and listening to Christmas music.  As the countdown til Christmas continues this often is a regular routine. 

In past years, drinking hot chocolate and eating homemade butter cookies I baked -- all different shapes - Christmas trees, snowmen, jingle bells, and even reindeer shaped cookies.  But, today not too much hot chocolate - even though I still love it.  Maybe cup of coffee or some other Holiday drink to enjoy the season.

Precious Moments Sugarland Express

Santa brought my daughter a really nice and super cute pink Precious Moments train set with track.  Not just any train and track, mind ya!  It's PINK - and she spent a lot of time watching the train run around on its' track!  A few times we put it around the perimeter of the tree.  It's a really neat train for little girls!  Who said only boys can have trains, anyway!

Thanks for sharing in my thoughts of a few traditions and a couple little memories fondly dancing in my head today!  Drinking coffee and looking at my Christmas tree now!
