It's Here...It's Tomorrow...SGKomen Race for the Cure 2014

Tomorrow, October 4th, is the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure in downtown Little Rock!!!

 

I've participated in this event since 2005...

I started running several years after surviving breast cancer because I wanted to "RUN" (instead of walk) the SGKomen Race for the Cure. 

 

That was three years ago and words can't express how excited I am to now run this particular portion of the 2014 Race for the Cure.

I registered for the time chip portion of the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure this year, going out at 7:30am - 30 minutes ahead of the beautiful sea of pink you will see in downtown Little Rock tomorrow at 8am.   Wish me LUCK! 

 

And, then, you just might find me walking the route again at the back of the 8am group. Yes, it's just that kind of a day.  It's a "MOVE, BE MOVED day, indeed.

This is what you might see if you're downtown Little Rock in the evening.  The beautiful colors which light up the bridges across the Arkansas River.
