All That Jazz!

 



 

Have you ever heard of Cleopatra's Needle?  Well, me neither!  Well, actually I have, but had forgotten how I'd heard of it.  After being reminded - of course - I saw it on Rachel Ray's $40 A Day Show several years ago.  Rachel Ray went there on one of her shows.  I don't really care much for the Rachel Ray Show (talk show) and do not watch it - as matter of fact - I've never watched a complete show.  But, when she did 30 Minute Meals and $40 A Day on Food Network I indeed watched fairly often.  I don't think RR made Cleopatra's Needle famous...believe it was famous long before RR visited. 

I've never been too keen on jazz but admit a few years back was visiting with an old friend who loved jazz.  I listened to some jazz as I reminisced a little and actually enjoyed it. 

 

Cleopatra's Needle is named after the famed monument in Central Park, and is a well known New York spot for its'  live jazz.   Cleopatra's Needle is close to us, so I felt I should go and and listen to "all that jazz!"
